‘Beauty with a conscience’ is our mission, and we specialize in ‘Quality of Life‘    enhancements,  with an ability to interpret  our clients’ sensibilities and make them real.

We are a full-service mural and decorative finishing studio producing high-end murals and finishes through architects, designers and contractors.  Our strength is working closely with clients/homeowners to translate THEIR personal vision into reality.  The Fine Art and Design training of all our collaborators contributes to a seldom-equalled quality of execution and workmanship.

Since our inception we have focused exclusively on using low/no VOC products for all projects. Initially, we employed only the Faux Effects Product Line, developed by Raymond Sandor, to imitate classical finishes without the use of solvent based formulas. Ina Brousseau Marx & Allen Marx, responsible for  furniture restoration for The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City (published recently in their “Furniture Restoration: Step by Step Tips and Techniques for Professional Results”), introduced the products to an entire generation of artisans, through The Finishing School.

More recently, we have expanded to using Fine Artisanal European plasters (no chemical or synthetic additives) through Real Finishes, and we are Certified ‘Trained Applicators’ for American Clay, an environmentally conscious, US-based finish.  In addition, we collaborate  and have trained with European-trained designers and artisans from France, Hungary and Poland, depending upon the needs of each client and the scope of the project.
